Inisfáil Social Circle is a not-for-profit organisation, highlighting the ancient heritage of 'Ireland's Ancient East'. Located in West Wicklow, we promote community participation, specifically around the lesser-known monuments, within our local communities.

‘Inisfáil’ is a poetic reference to Ireland, as the island of destiny, from the mythological sagas of the Tuatha Dé Dannan. Inspired by this narrative, we aim to spotlight the monuments & folklore of the land. Mairéad's Colouring Storybook encourages people to get to know the story of the land of Ériu, and specifically here in West Wicklow.

Following 'Slí Chualainn', one of the five ancient roads leading from the Hill of Tara, Mairéad's book invites both adults and children to mindfully explore the landscape on the page. Starting in ‘The Hillfort Capital Of Ireland’, in West Wicklow, you can get to know the monuments, artifacts and legends that make the story of our landscape burst off the page!
